ভগ্নহৃদয় রবীন্দ্রনাথের প্রথম জীবনের এক ভাববিহ্বল কাব্য। পুস্তকাকারে এর পুনর্মুদ্রণ ঘটানো হয়নি নানা কারণে। অথচ জোড়াসাঁকোর ঠাকুর পরিবার আর ত্রিপুররাজ মাণিক্য পরিবারে মেলবন্ধনের সানন্দ সংযোগের যোগসূত্র এই কাব্যটি।
এই ইতিহাস ও কাব্যের রসগ্রাহী আলোচনাসহ গ্রন্থটিকে নতুন করে পাঠকের দরবারে উপস্থাপিত করা হল বিচিত্র তথ্যের সমাবেশে। কবি হিসেবে রবীন্দ্রনাথের প্রথম স্বীকৃতি ত্রিপুররাজ পরিবার থেকেই এসেছিল-এই কাব্য সেই স্বীকৃতিরই কাব্যিক দলিল।
